Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze just reacted to the news of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s Daughter Damilola getting married to Shamsideen Oluwaseun Bakare, the son of one of Nigeria’s richest businesswomen, Hajia Bola Shagaya.

Charity Uzoechina, the daughter of Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor, Raymond Uzoechina, who made headlines with her story of conversion to Islam, was set to marry the lawyer who handles her controversial case in court but the Niger state Government called it off.
Aisha (formerly known as Charity) Uzoechina, 26, was supposed to be marrying her Muslim lawyer, Barrister Tijani, reportedly on May 2. However, the Governor of Niger state, Babangida Aliyu, where Uzoechina resides, ordered that the wedding to be stopped as he got information that Aisha’s parents were not informed of her upcoming wedding.
According to Vanguard, imams and other Muslim clerics were already gathered when the wedding was canceled.

I have never been normal, but who needs normal when I can be abnormally me.

"We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care," said Kardashian.
"North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister," she added.
Kardashian and West married in May 2014, and already have two children: daughter North, 4, and 2-year-old son Saint.
The couple chose to use a surrogate as Kardashian suffered from placenta accreta -- a serious condition where the placenta becomes too deeply attached to the wall of the uterus -- during her second pregnancy, making a third pregnancy too risky, according to celebrity website TMZ.
TMZ also reported that the Wests paid $45,000 to the surrogate -- who was banned from smoking and taking drugs as well as taking hot baths, dying her hair and eating raw fish during the pregnancy.
Giant whale killed in Ondo state after it washed up to the shore
A giant whale was reportedly killed yesterday in Ese-odo, Ondo state.
The whale washed up on shore and locals wasted no time taking photos with it before they butchered it and shared among themselves. Viral photos circulating on social media shows locals posing on top of the mammal.

Nigerian lady marries man six days after Facebook advert
A Nigerian man, Chidimma Amedu has taken Facebook post to a whole new level when he posted an unusual advert on 30 December 2017 asking any woman interested in being his wife to reply.

He also said he was ready to tie the nuptials knots on 6 January, 2018.
“Am of age and I am ready to say I do and am wasting no time.
“Send in your applications – the most qualified will be married on January 6, 2018. Application closes 12 midnight, 31/12/2017,” t Amedu posted.
He then followed up with subsequent posts.
“Am serious about this oh and don’t say you did not see it on time. Good luck.”
He received a couple of responses, but one from a certain Sophy Ijeoma was the one which caught his attention.
“Am interested, just DM me…lols,” her post read.
At first, she thought it was a joke and she simply replied to keep the thread flowing.
A direct message from him to her inbox, followed by a Facebook call, would change her life’s trajectory.
Chidimma placed the advert initially as a joke but became optimistic when Sophy said she was interested
Two days after their first conversation, he travelled some 500km (300 miles) from his home in the Nigerian capital of Abuja, to Enugu in the east where she lived.
She had been waiting for him outside a retail store and in true fairy-tale style, “it was love at first sight”, she recalled.
“He is the most handsome man I’ve ever met and I liked him instantly.”
After two hours of “awkward” conversation, he asked her to go to meet his uncle, who incidentally is also resident in Enugu.
Asked what was going through her mind at the time, she said she thought it was all a bit of a joke, but she was excited about it and thought Chidimma was quite an interesting character.
“We got to the uncle’s house and he said: ‘Uncle, meet the woman I want to marry.’”
Like Chidimma, his family don’t seem to hang about when it comes to getting things done, because the uncle gave his approval.
The couple had been friends on Facebook for over a year but had never spoken to each other before the advert
Getting family backing for your choice of spouse is an essential part of Igbo culture.
Whereas picking your future wife from dozens of respondents to a Facebook marriage advert and marrying her in six days is decidedly not.
At this point in their day-old relationship, it was beginning to dawn on Sophy that this fellow was not playing, but how do you commit to marrying someone you only just met?
She would not comment on whether they had even shared as much as a kiss at that point, but maintained she was captivated by how focused and determined her new fiancé was.
“When I saw him for the first time, I definitely found him attractive, but what I didn’t know was how serious he was about marrying me.
“It was after we met the uncle and his wife, that I realised that this could actually happen and I wanted it.”
The engagement
It was now her turn to worry about how she was going to get the approval of her family to marry a guy she had just met on Facebook.
But they had momentum going for them. Having met and fallen in love at first sight, or first message, if you like, and getting Chidimma’s uncle’s approval, the couple decided to complete the cycle by visiting Sophy’s family the same day.
Approval from the family is essential in Igbo tradition.
Sophy recounted how she relayed the information to her mother. Her dad had passed away, and her mum said she did not have the final word in terms of giving approval for her to be married, so it was up to Sophy’s elder brother to give his blessings.
It would appear the odds were firmly in their favour as Sophy’s brother gave his blessings too.
So after a few questions from her brother, it was official – Chidimma and Sophy were engaged to be married in six days.
Last year Chidimma was engaged to another woman and the wedding was scheduled for December, but the relationship fell apart in March leaving him dejected.
As December approached, the disappointment of not being able to fulfil his dream of getting married made him put up the post, he said.
The wedding was a blend of old and new
“I had the desire to get married, I had a date in mind, but no bride, so I decided to place an advert as a joke, but I was open and up for it.”
Asked whether she knew about his earlier engagement and her thoughts on how this seemingly rushed marriage might be seen as a rebound, Sophy dismissed any suggestions that her relationship was not well thought through.
“I don’t care about that – when you see what you want, you go for it.”
They had been friends on Facebook for more than a year, but had never met or spoken to each other until the advert.
“Am interested, just DM me…lols” was all it took for the union to be formed.
Sophy admitted her friends were sceptical about the whole thing, while some are still in disbelief, but as she said: “When you see the one, you will know he is the one”.
Happily ever after?
They got married on 6 January in a traditional Igbo ceremony, and posted photos of their wedding day on Facebook of course – to the amusement of the social media community.
Chidimma put up a post saying people may have thought he had been joking but he clearly wasn’t.
As can be expected, there were mixed reactions, but mainly a lot of support for the couple.
They hope to have a church wedding in April and perhaps a honeymoon somewhere nice, he said.

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Wilson Oruma has suffered emotional disorder as a result of how he was reportedly duped by an unknown pastor.
Oruma, who played alongside JJ Okocha and Kanu is now broke and in a status of mental disorder six years after he was reportedly defrauded by a clergyman and some fake oil businessmen.
It was learnt that oruma eventually lost a whopping sum of N1.2 billion to an investment.
His close friend, Emakpor Dibofun has been reported to have told Complete Sports that the former Super Eagles star is yet to recover from the fortune he lost to fraudsters.
Dibofun said: “Wilson Oruma hasn’t really recovered from the emotional disorder which he suffered after he was duped.
He has been to several places in search of a lasting solution, but it gets worse after a bit of improvement,” he said.
Oruma featured for RC Lens, Nancy, Samsunspor, Nimes, Servette, Sochaux, Marseille and Guingamp, and Kavala FC of Greece before he retired at the age of 33 on November 26, 2010.
The midfield maestro also featured for Nigeria’s U-17, U-23 and the senior national team winning the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1993, the Olympic gold in 1996 and two bronze medals at the African Cup of Nations in 2002 and 2006.
Wedding dress saga: Mercy Aigbe finally apologizes to bride

Her reaction came nine days after her fans demanded for an explanation on social media.
Mercy had worn a red dress made by the designer for her 40th birthday photoshoot, a dress a bride later came out to say was hers. The bride said the designer had lied to her that a logistics challenge had stalled its transportation to her in Benin. She added that she was supposed to wear the dress on her wedding day.
Following an apology by the designer and a statement by Mercy Aigbe’s stylist, StyledBySeun, absolving her of any fault, the actress has heaped the blame on the designer, saying ‘it was all the designer’s fault.’
Reacting on her Instagram page, Aigbe said, ‘’I have followed events as they unfold following a particular dress I wore for a photoshoot. First, I must say that I sincerely sympathise with the bride as this situation is painful, unfortunate and regrettably avoidable.”
“I hired and paid Seun @styledbyseun for the photoshoot as a stylist and got four dresses for the shoot. Seun and I were unaware that one of the dresses was meant for someone else. I am embarrassed that the designer was not professional enough in handling events leading to this moment.”
“It is also painful that a bride is made to go through what the bride has been made to go through. I have reached out to both the stylist and designer (whom I have never met nor HIRED directly) to express my displeasure. I have instructed my lawyer to look into this and see how best to approach this from a legal point of view without festering an already open wound. Thanks’’.

Shade Tinubu-Ojo, first daughter of the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has welcomed her first baby, a boy, through surrogacy.
According to Wikipedia, Surrogacy is a method or agreement whereby a woman agrees to carry a pregnancy for another person or persons, who will become the newborn child’s parent after birth.
PM News investigation revealed that the baby was born on 25 December, 2017 through surrogacy to the Tinubu-Ojo family, who have been expecting a baby several years after marriage.
Tinubu-Ojo was cited at the commissioning of the Johnson, Jakande, Tinubu, JJT Park three weeks ago not pregnant. In fact, she was the one who cut the tape for the commissioning of the project in the presence of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Despite fact that the baby was born through surrogacy, there is joy in the Tinubu-Ojo’s family that at last the Iya-Oloja General is now a proud mother.
The naming ceremony of the baby has been fixed for Monday, January 1, 2018.

1. Mercy Ayigbe and Lanre Gentry
When in April news broke that the marriage of star actress, Mercy Aigbe to Lanre Gentry was about to hit the rocks, even with her pictures showing her battered face all over the blogosphere, many people hoped that it was a publicity stunt.
A fight between the couple allegedly led to her bleeding, a situation which informed Mercy’s decision to storm the office of the Lagos State Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Commissioner, Lola Akande, to report the matter.
Mr. Gentry was subsequently remanded in Kirikiri Prisons in Lagos. The 52-year-old hotelier finally appeared in court after failing to show up twice. He was then remanded in prison until he met the bail demands of N500, 000 and two sureties who reside in Lagos and have landed properties.
He was granted bail after he was arraigned at an Ikeja magistrate court on a three-count charge of domestic violence, assault and threat to life.
The couple were married for seven years and the union produced a son. While it was Mercy’s second marriage, it was Gentry’s third marriage.
The actress who had accused her husband of physical violence, which she said affected her sight, and caused her to bleed internally for over three weeks, disclosed their separation in a tell-it-all interview with BroadwayTV.

All was going well between Tonto Dikeh and Oladunni Churchill until January 2017, when the marriage hit the rocks.
The actress would eventually share messy details of her marriage.She also released photos to back her claims. Her husband, however, countered her claims, disclosing that he never abused the actress but was a victim of a woman who was under the influence of drugs.
The duo has continued to slander each other and reveal messy details of themselves on social media.
Theirs is unarguably the messiest Nigerian celebrity breakup of 2017 and in a long while.
While it is Tonto’s first marriage, it is Churchill’s second attempt. He was previously married to a certain Bimbo Coker. Churchill is a nephew of a former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo.
Tonto and Churchill met two and a half years ago at Escape Nightclub in Lagos during the birthday party of the latter’s brother. Tonto got pregnant six months after they met and they staged a glamorous traditional marriage on August 29, 2015 at Tonto’s hometown Rumukani in Rumukwuta, Rivers State.
In February, the Nollywood star confirmed there were cracks in the marriage. She revealed she had moved out of the house with her son.
Churchill in company of his uncle, Bishop Dare, met with Tonto ‘s father, Sunny Dikeh, in Port Harcourt in June to retrieve the bride price.
Churchill made the video of the intimate family event public on Instagram. Meanwhile, Tonto celebrated the final dissolution of her marriage in an Instagram post, which simply read, “The joy was indescribable.”
Damilola Adegbite and Chris Attoh
Although the pair has been evasive about the state of their marriage, there have been mild indications that they have separated.
They both have not flaunted their love and family on social media for a while now. Instead, Instagram photo captions indicates that they are embarking on individual journeys right now.
The 36-year-old Ghanaian star proposed to Adegbite on a boat cruise in Manhattan, NYC in August 2014. The pair tied the knot on February 14, at the La Villa Boutique Hotel in Accra in 2015.
After months of speculation and denials, the Ghanaian actor, finally admitted that his marriage was over. He made the disclosure on Bella Naija in September.
Muma Gee and Prince Eke
The couple met at a Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG in Omole, Lagos State, and got married a few weeks after. The union produced three children including a set of twins.
The couple that was married for six years finally had their volatile marriage dissolved in 2017.
Muma Gee filed for divorce in February, citing domestic violence and infidelity as the reasons.
Muma Gee revealed the details that led to her divorce on Instagram. She said that she suffered series of domestic violence from her estranged husband.
She also disclosed that he proposed to four different women while they were still married. But Prince Eke countered her claims stating that Muma Gee abandoned him with their four children and ran off with another man.
Lilian Esoro and Ubi Franklin
What is really going on in the marriage of record label owner, Ubi Franklin and actress, Lilian Esoro, is the million-dollar question on the lips of many.
Their union had been rocky from the very start. It is believed that Lilian initially did not want to marry Ubi, and she had indeed turned down his marriage proposal at first, before she was pressured to accept.
She had also deleted her account on Instagram and went on hibernation before friends in the industry prevailed on her to accept Ubi. This was amidst unconfirmed rumours that Lilian was in love with a popular married comedian.
They wedded in November 2015 and in less than a year and before their son turned one, they split.
It began with rumours and then Lilian un-followed Ubi on Instagram. She also took an even more drastic measure: she took down his name from her Instagram account.
