Taking advantage of DNA facility
Politicalnewz24

MANY Nigerians must have heaved a sigh of relief when the Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, inaugurated the first DNA Forensic Centre in West Africa recently.
It is not difficult to agree with Ambode that the move would go a long way in resolving all forms of crimes, paternity issues, among others, through technology.
According to the Lagos governor, “From the domestic front to our places of work; from the way we learn to doing business, the use of technology has become a way of life.”
Infidelity has been a feature of life from time immemorial, but it is now at an all-time high.
It is difficult for many men to know if they are indeed the fathers of the children that their wives more or less foisted on them. Therefore, DNA testing needs to become readily available to resolve all doubts.
Apart from this, DNA testing is useful in determining which children should benefit from a late person’s wealth, particularly if such a person was a wealthy polygamist.
The testing will prevent bastards from inheriting his wealth.
In addition, DNA testing will put the mind of faithful spouses at rest when it has been confirmed that they were not unfaithful to their partner.
